AlarTravels was created with a simple idea: when you want to travel, you should be able to find useful information without feeling like every page is trying to sell you a package.
WHY I STARTED ALARTRAVELS
A website born from a love of travelling.
“I wanted to build a place where people could find the information they actually need before going on a trip.”
I love travelling. But like many people with a busy work life, I cannot always take long or far-away trips. Work pressure and the cost of travelling also matter. So whenever I get the chance, I try to go somewhere – even if it is somewhere close by for a weekend.
That habit made me realise that a good trip does not always have to be a long trip. Sometimes, a nearby destination and a little planning are enough.

When planning a trip, I often found websites where package offers appeared before the practical information I was actually looking for. That is where the idea for AlarTravels came from.

My travel experience is still growing, and that is intentional. AlarTravels is not built around pretending to have been everywhere. It is built around continuously learning, researching and sharing useful travel information.
So far, my travel experience includes places around Kolkata and West Bengal, along with trips to Odisha, the hills of North Bengal and Sikkim, and places around Bengaluru.
This list will grow as I continue to travel and explore.
